We are Sad, Sad People
So, Bruce and I were given the gift of a free night of unlimited babysitting. Great! We found an incredible new tapas restaurant and ran a few errands. We even went somewhere else for coffee and dessert. At 8:00 my husband says it would be a shame to go home already. The girls said to stay out as late as we would like. We could not think of anything else to do. I was so tired and just wanted to sleep. So, we were home by 8:15. Please tell me it is just life with a newborn and I am not getting old.

Julie, I found your blog through Stephanie's and have been catching up with the Etter family. this one made me laugh. Sometimes when Max is at my parents we just come back to the house and I read or sleep without interuption and Lee plays playstation! Its life with kids! miss you guys Jenny Adler
My husband's parents took the kids to another island for a few days this week, and we finally had time alone. But we were soooo tired. Tuesday night we crashed on the sofa and watched American Idol. So, we're sad, sad people, too. :-)
But I think having a newborn really does explain your tiredness!
Jenny,
It is good to hear from you. We miss you guys! Isaac refers to the man who likes to play with toys from time to time.:)
Anne,
That's funny. We did the same thing on Tuesday.
