I am sure I am not alone when I say I have been too busy to blog. We leave to visit Bruce's parents next Thursday and then we will be home on Christmas Eve. You know what that means! I have to be ready by Wednesday. Ahh! That takes a week away from my Christmas planning. I hope to finish my shopping by Monday and then we will start the baking and candy making. So this is our list. What is on yours?
Chocolate Covered Cherries
Fudge
Peanut Butter Balls
Molasses Cookies
Chocolate Chip Cookies

All I know for sure that I'm baking are my secret recipe cookies. I'll probably make some Oreo truffles because my kids love them and they're super easy. I'm thinking about making a Reese's cheesecake.
The Resse's cheesecake is sounding good for our Christmas dinner dessert. Do you have a special recipe or can I Google it?
I use this recipe. I use graham crackers for the crust, though, and I buy miniature Reese's to decorate the top of the cheesecake. I make it the day before we want to eat it.
I usually try to make a potica ("po-TEET-za"). It's a Slavic rolled bread that has a filling of chopped pecans, honey and spices. My grandmother used ot make it.
